With finals practically over, I’m jumping right into another project, something I’ve been putting off for a while: secretsketchbook.com. I’ve played around with some Tumblr themes before because I didn’t want to create an entirely new one, but I think thats what it’s come down to.
I’ve always been a web designer and not a developer, but I think a simple Tumblr theme wouldn’t hurt. I’m diving into an endless list of tutorials right now to see how I can get SecretSketchbook to have the posting flexibility of Tumblr but the complex fluid grid-based look of an actual flash website…
I’ve been looking at this from several angles:
