1. Working on my Secret Sketchbook

With finals practically over, I’m jumping right into another project, something I’ve been putting off for a while: secretsketchbook.com. I’ve played around with some Tumblr themes before because I didn’t want to create an entirely new one, but I think thats what it’s come down to.

I’ve always been a web designer and not a developer, but I think a simple Tumblr theme wouldn’t hurt. I’m diving into an endless list of tutorials right now to see how I can get SecretSketchbook to have the posting flexibility of Tumblr but the complex fluid grid-based look of an actual flash website…

I’ve been looking at this from several angles:

    1. Flash Website with a Tumblr backend - might be a bit time consuming and Flash will probably be completely obsolete by the time I finish it.
    2. Actual Website - but I’ve had a horrible history with other CMS…
    3. Tumblr Theme - it seems like the most obvious choice, but I’m not too confident on how to go about doing that…

    Hopefully something works out.
